Associate Professor of Criminology at University of Girona (UdG).

He was previously a recipient of the national “Juan de la Cierva” postdoctoral research grant.

His research can be divided into two main lines: on the one hand, economic cybercrime and, on the other hand, criminal justice sentencing.

His research is mainly conducted from a quantitative perspective and has been published in many national and international journals including the European Journal of Criminology, the British Journal of Criminology, and Computers in Human Behavior.

In addition to peer-reviewed studies, he has authored a book in Spanish on the topic of online fraud and various book chapters and technical reports.

He is currently a board member of the Spanish Society of Criminological Research and an associate editor of the journal Nature Humanities and Social Sciences Communications.
