
Associate Professor of Procedural Law at the University of Girona (UdG).
Author of several works; member of the consolidated research group Current issues of Procedural Law since 2005, scientific coordinator of the European project funded by the European Commission (Action grant, “The protection of the victims in the European criminal justice systems”) and second principal investigator of an R+D project of the Excellence Program on “Legal security and efficiency of justice (critical points of procedural reforms with the added perspective of comparative law)”.
In addition to having actively participated in a dozen research projects funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, having been a member of the Spanish group of another European project and having obtained 2 individual grants. Member of the International Association of Procedural Law (IAPL), the ELI and theCEAPJ.
Speaker in several International Congresses, speaker in eight others and organizer of several international congresses.
The current lines of research are civil and criminal procedural reforms, consumer litigation, the protection and guardianship of crime victims, cybercrime, technological investigation proceedings, artificial intelligence, mediation (ADR) and procedural legal security, both from a national and comparative perspective.
